The English people like two things: the royal family and bets. With the marriage of prince Harry and Meghan, here they are filled. The event will take place on May 19th, in the chapel Saint-Georges of the Windsor Castle, in London. A global event, which, according to British Retail consortium, would cost £ 500 millions. Labrokes one of the foremost bookmakers, made of this marriage, the real kitty. According to the events, we were so able to make bets on the place, the date, the dress … And the wine chosen to accompany these festivities.
Perfidious Albion, and deathblow for the Champagne, the royal family would opt for effervescent one English one instead of a champagne. So raw of Chapel Down keep being given as favorite with a quotation of 2/1 (read this comment already written in this connection). We also evoke Windsor Park with 4/1.  Of what to become revolutionary!  At the very limit, to make in the sparkling wine, we could propose the quite new sparkling wine British Louis Pommery de Vranken-Pommery Monopoly. At least, the name is an inhabitant of the Champagne region.
Actually, on the table of bets arrive then the champagne Bollinger at 6/1. Dom Pérignon is 7/1, Widow Clicquot has 8/1, whereas Pol Roger, nevertheless selected for the marriage of the duke and the duchess of Cambridge in 2011, are given to 10/1. Lanson is 12/1.  By tea way, the British wine Lambrini is considered an outsider in 500/1. The honor is safe!
Certainly the idea to assert local products is praiseworthy, but it does not miss -t-il not a little glamour, isn’ t it! So other times, other times,  So of Slept off in magnum and of pinkish Bollinger in magnum were served during the dinner given on April 28th, 2011, the day before the marriage of Kate and William, to the Oriental Mandarin of London for 150 guests of the royal families of all Europe and the Middle East. We can add that of Pinkish Laurent-Perrier Brut and the Vintage Laurent-Perrier were been of use to the private and « intimate » evening reception to Buckingham Palace.
It is Perrier-Jouët who was chosen as the official champagne of the princely marriage of Prince Albert of Monaco and Charlene Wittstock who took place in July, 2011 with the vintage Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque 2002 been of use to the dinner. For the marriage of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer, it is of Dom Pérignon on 1961 which was offered to the dinner guests. In 1956, on the occasion of the marriage of prince Rainier III of Monaco and Grace Kelly, the house Veuve-Clicquot offered to the princely couple four boxes of three doubles – magnum (jeroboams) of crude oil 1929
